Agoura Hills is a city in the Santa Monica mountains region of Los Angeles County. It is in the eastern Conejo Valley between the Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains. Agoura Hills and unincorporated Agoura sit next to Calabasas, Oak Park, and Westlake Village. It is a unique suburban community located approximately fifteen minutes from Malibu and twenty-five minutes from the city of Los Angeles. The area features protected nature conservancies which are wonderful for observing wildlife, biking, hiking, and embracing an equestrian lifestyle. There are beautiful luxury homes in Agoura which are arguably some of the most notable in Southern California. The area is known for protected trails, open acreage, low crime, an amazing school district, and clean air. Agoura is located near grocery stores, shopping centers, entertainment, dining, parks, and outdoor activities. Residents who move here stay a while.
