One of our favorite beachfront cities
Santa Monica is a beachfront city in western Los Angeles County and it is bordered on five sides by different neighborhoods of the city of Los Angeles: Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, West Los Angeles, Mar Vista, and Venice. Santa Monica is a nice blend of a beach and a cosmopolitan lifestyle. It is home to the headquarters of many notable businesses and medical centers. Santa Monica is a vibrant city with creative energy and something for everyone. All in proximity are art and culture events and venues, shopping districts, parks, and recreational activities. It is great for young families who want to live in a walkable city however depending on what pocket you are in there can be a fair share of homeless on the streets. The Santa Monica Malibu Unified School district provides public education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. There are also numerous private schools in the city to select from.
